Kiosk Museum Exhibit - San Francisco
Incredibly honored to be selected as one of 5 photographers (1 of 2 living) in the San Francisco Kiosk Museum project, representing contemporary street photography in SF as part of a retrospective dating back to the mid-1800s. Here's a piece my friend Jan Wayne Swayze made about the project with commentary by Kiosk Museum Curator Michael Lerner and music pulled from a freestyle violin session I recorded several years ago inside Jun Yu's Chinatown barbershop. My Kiosk is located on Post at Stockton Street (directly outside the Apple Store) in San Francisco's Union Square. Other photographers include Carleton Watkins (1829-1916), Arnold Genthe (1869-1942), John Guttman (1905-1998), and Carlotta Boettcher (b. 1949).
